Andrea and Tom’s White Pines Wedding
MDM Entertainment had a blast at another awesome White Pines Wedding. We celebrated Andrea and Tom as they started their lives together as husband and wife, surrounded by the love and support of their family and friends.
Why This Space Is So Unique
“We looked at a few venues around the area but loved White Pines when we saw it. We really liked the ceremony site outdoors with the water on either side and the shade of the big tree. We also loved the reception space, particularly that it was a unique space and not just a square room. The tall windows, the angled ceiling, the built-in bar, and the patio space were some of the highlights,” said Andrea.
The outdoor ceremony space at White Pines is definitely a show stopper. Perched on the edge of the golf course, the ceremony space is a brick paved aisle that dips into a cute man made pond. The “I Do’s” take place under the shade of a big oak tree, that adds a perfect backdrop to the ceremony photos. Andrea and Tom loved the ceremony space and said it fit their personalities perfectly.
“We enjoy being outdoors together, so it was a natural decision for us to be married under the sky. We got so lucky with the weather!! It was a risk, but it was very ‘us,” said Andrea.
A White Pines Wedding is unique in the sense that you can make it all your own. Since it has high ceilings with huge windows you can do almost anything over this dance floor. A very popular item is hanging paper lanterns. The navy blue and white lanterns matched the couples color theme perfectly! They wanted a very classic and timeless look which is exactly what they got.
“The first time we went to White Pines there were lanterns up from the previous event and they made an impression on us. During our subsequent visit, the lanterns were missing and the high ceilings felt a little naked. Going with the lanterns was actually one of the first decisions we made! And we LOVED the way it turned out, especially at night!” said Andrea.
“Our Favorite Parts”
The best part about working in the wedding field is witnessing the moments that mean the most to a couple. Andrea and Tom shared many of their favorite moments with us.
“Walking down the aisle after the ceremony. I remember we were both crying but just ecstatic. As we walked we could really feel the love for us from all our family and friends. There’s no better feeling. Although standing on the patio and looking in at the packed dance floor was also pretty awesome!” said Andrea.
Check out how awesome it was in this MDM Entertainment Video:
This couple was out on the dance floor all night!
MDM DJ Nick R met with the couple prior to the wedding to get to know the couple and their friends. By the time the wedding rolled around, Nick knew exactly what to play to get the crowd going!
Andrea and Tom shared their first dance to “That’s How Strong My Love Is” by Otis Redding.
Followed by the Father Daughter Dance to “It’s For My Dad” by Nancy Sinatra and the Mother Son Dance to “Because You Loved Me” by Celine Dion.
MDM DJ Nick was even able to dedicate a song to Andrea’s Sister and Maid of Honor, “Callin’ Baton Rouge” by Garth Brooks. Knowing that this song was an old college favorite for the girls, everyone loved it!
Another favorite memory from the couples wedding day was their photographer from Britta Marie Photography. She was great to work with and her pictures are stunning!
“Our photographer! She was so easy and fun to work with it felt like having a friend around all day. And her photos are absolutely beautiful!” said Andrea.
