Anna and Shawn’s Wedding at Pazzos
MDM Entertainment was happy to be a part of Anna and Shawn’s memory filled wedding at Pazzos in Chicago.
“There were so many memories, but a great one was just as we were getting ready to start walking down the aisle in the back of the church, our ring bearer, Jackson, was SO excited he couldn’t contain himself. He started shouting “IT’S ALMOST TIME!! I’M SO EXCITED!” said Anna.
The Ring Bearer wasn’t the only one excited about Anna and Shawn’s Wedding at Pazzos. The venue was bright and grand, the bar area had a Chicago pub feel and the guests came ready to celebrate.
Inside Pazzo’s
The view from Pazzo’s staircase was unbelievable. You felt like you were under the sea with the couple’s watercolor design, the tall glass windows, the beautiful waterfall and all the tropical trees. Different shades of blue were everywhere from the bridesmaid dresses to the tables.
Each table had splashes of blue with draped tule and centerpieces made of floating candles or blue bouquets. Anna said after one meeting with Polly at Polly’s Petals and Particulars she was able to go above and beyond with her watercolor vision.
The table numbers pulled you back into the great neighborhoods of Chicago. The couple’s tables were labeled by areas of Chicago, such as Wrigleyville, Lakeview and Lincoln Park. It was a very cute idea!
Memories On The Dance Floor
“Shawn actually chose our first dance song! He told me the name and artist and said to give it a listen. I was riding home from work on the CTA when I watched the Youtube video for the first time and totally started crying—I knew that was our song!” said Anna.
Anna and Shawn shared their first dance to “Overwhelmed” by Tim McMorris. It was very touching to see the couple singing to each other and meaning every word.
Soon after the special dances with Anna’s Father and Shawn’s Mother. The couple joined their friends on the dance floor. MDM DJ Nick had Pazzo’s bar area lit up and rockin’. Everyone crowded on to the dance floor, dancing to today’s hit, some oldies and some classics all strategically mixed with the lights. The crowd cheered with the start of every new song.
“Loved our DJ Nick! He totally got our style and was so thorough and offered great advice when we spoke with him before the big day. I knew I didn’t have to worry about anything with him running the show!” said Anna.
Picture Perfect
Anna and Shawn also had a Photo Booth Express photo booth which the guests of all ages hit more than once. The guests smiled, made funny faces and danced in their pictures. Each picture came out more exciting then the last. It was a great time.
“Several of my friends have had a photo booth at their weddings and it was always fun—a great little thing for guests to take with them as well instead of a useless favor in my opinion. I also love having the memory book instead of a basic guest book—so much more entertaining to look back on!” said Anna.
Congrats Anna and Shawn!!
Working with Joanne from Josephiney Photography was seamless, along with Videographer Leah Tribbett from Leah Trib Productions. Anna was sad a videographer was not in her budget, so her wonderful bridesmaids hired Leah Trib Productions as a surprise gift! Check out Anna and Shawn’s video here!
Both companies were very creative and great to work with, along with the rest of the vendor team!! Such as Fay Sweeney at Pazzo’s, who stepped in as Anna’s wedding planner.
We loved celebrating with you!!
