Gina and Thomas’ DoubleTree O’Hare Wedding
This DoubleTree O’Hare wedding was lit up with lights and love to celebrate Gina and Thomas’s new marriage. Gina, Thomas and their guests filled the dance floor with excitement, surrounded by MDM DJ David’s awesome mix and vibrant lights.
GOAL
We have to start with Gina and Thomas’s grand introduction! Being huge hockey fans, the couple handed their bridal party hockey sticks to create a slap shot entrance. The bridal party walked in to “Crazy in Love” by Beyonce & Jay Z and the newly weds walked in to, of course, “Chelsea Dagger.”
The room was jumping with excitement as the Bridal Party slapped the floor and MDM DJ David announced the lovely couple. It was so much fun and very unique. Check it out below.
Gorgeous Simplicity
The DoubleTree O’Hare Wedding was very elegant with a black and white color scheme. The black table clothes made the white accents pop in the glow of the up lights. The layout in the room was very sharp and simple, making the whole reception warm and inviting.
MDM Entertainment used pin spot lighting to highlight the beautiful bouquet centerpieces. Perched on clear crystal vases, the pink and white flowers looked flawless in the soft glow of the lights.
The venue created the perfect mix of fun and beauty, especially when the lights went down and the dancing began.
A Family of Dancers
During the Bride and Groom’s thank you speech, the only thing they asked of their guests was for fun and dancing, which is exactly what they got.
The first dance opened up with a loving “aw”, as Thomas escorted Gina onto the dance floor. The couple danced to “Stolen” by Dashboard Confessional and it was so cute to watch them giggle with one another as each word of the song played.
If it wasn’t for the adorable Newly Weds, the Father of the Bride and the Mother of the Groom could have stole the show with their awesome dance moves. Both spent their dances twirling across the dance floor. Groom Thomas and his mother danced to “My Wish” by Rascal Flatts and Bride Gina and her Father danced to “Stand By Me” by Ben E. King.
Soon after the speciality dances, MDM DJ David opened the dance floor with “Blurred Lines” by Robin Thicke. From there, MDM DJ David took the crowd on a musical ride including lots of today’s Top 40 and all of the Brides favorites.
MDM Entertainment had a wonderful time celebrating with this fun couple!
