Michelle and Jamie’s Wedding at Highland Park Community House
MDM Entertainment DJ’s Ryan F. and Ryan C. had Bride, Michelle, and Groom, Jamie, dancing the night away surrounded by their family and friends at their Highland Park Community House wedding.
Simple and Classic
“Fall and autumn colors were my inspiration. We wanted to stay with simple, classic colors,” said Michelle.
The Highland Park Community House is a great space, conveniently located in the heart of Highland Park. Michelle and Jamie found the venue online and said this clean, simple place fit their classic theme perfectly. The room was large with beautiful hard wood floors, big windows to show the front yard and a stage for MDM’s DJs.
Choosing Fall and Autumn colors for their wedding, the room was warm and loving with elegant amber up lighting and candle-lit centerpieces. Deep red roses popped on every table, adding to the fall colors. It was very romanic!
The room was full of love, from the Groom’s heart felt toast to the beautiful memorial table.
“Jamie came up with the idea. It was a way for us to have some of our closest loved ones who have passed away there with us on our wedding day,” said Michelle.
The table was set with candles and pictures. Some guests even got a little misty eyed when they saw it. It was a great touch.
The Wild Ones
“Our favorite memory was walking in to “Wild Ones” and being introduced as Mr. & Mrs. Wild!” said Michelle.
Michelle and Jamie’s walk in was one of MDM’s favorites! After sharing a simple “are you ready kiss” the couple walked in with big smiles as their family and friends cheered them on. Just as they got to the middle of the room the beat dropped and they brought out their best moves! It was fun and romantic all at the same time.
When it was time for the first dance, you could see the love in their eyes.
“We chose Aqualung’s “Brighter Than Sunshine” because we’ve loved the song for a long time and it fit our relationship,” said Michelle.
The romantic fun didn’t stop there! The couple was on the dance floor all night! Some dance battles broke out as everyone took a turn dancing in a big circle. MDM DJ’s Ryan F. and Ryan C. were asked to open the floor with Madonna and close the floor with the Lumineers.

MDM Entertainment once again got to work with their great friends from Angel Eyes Photography. It is always a fun time when Hilda and Carrol are there capturing the all the moments big and little! Michelle told MDM, Hilda was one of her favorite hires.
“Our photographer, Hilda Burke (Angel Eyes Photography). We’ve only seen 5 pictures so far, but they are going to be amazing,” said Michelle.
The whole night was amazing! Congrats Michelle and Jamie MDM Entertainment wishes you all the best. Thank you for letting us help you celebrate.
