Their Belvedere Banquets wedding was said to be a dream come true for newly weds Taryn and John. From the lighting and decor that perfectly captured Taryn’s vision of her wedding day to the packed dance floor it was an exceptional night for Taryn and John and their guests.

A Pink Dream

The newly weds, Taryn and John, celebrated with their closest friends and family at the beautiful Belvedere Banquets in Elk Grove Village, IL.

“I was referred by a few people that had got married there (Belvedere Banquets). Once John and I walked in our jaws dropped and we loved it! Once we tasted the food we knew that was our place,” said Taryn.

Belvedere Banquets is an exceptional venue for weddings in the Northwest Suburbs. The staff is very helpful and the space makes you feel at home. There is a huge winding stair case, leading to the bridal room, so the bride can have a big entrance to her wedding.

Since Belvedere Banquets has high ceilings and very neutral colors, it makes the perfect canvas for lighting. Knowing pink was Taryn’s favorite color, MDM Entertainment went to work creating the couples pink dream, complete with pink up lights, intelligent dance floor lighting, a custom monogram gobo, a custom drapery cabana for their sweet heart table and pink floating lanterns.

“WE LOVED THEM! We could have never imagined anything as awesome as what you guys did!” Taryn said about the floating lanterns.

The excitement in the room was expressed in the bubbly pink lights. The whole room was lit up in pink, except for the glowing pure white sweet heart cabana. The contrast made the beautiful couple a focal point in the sea of pink.

Another focal point were the pink and white floating lanterns creating a dreamy effect as they floated seamlessly above the crowded dance floor. Every detail reflected the couple’s fun and loving personalities.

Dancing All Night Long

“My dress was my favorite purchase but my favorite vendor to work with was MDM! Your team did an outstanding job and went way above our expectations,” said Taryn.

MDM DJ Mike D brought his A game at Taryn and John’s Belvedere Banquets wedding. He knew exactly what to play to get everyone on the dance floor and keep them there. Before the first dance was even announced people were up and dancing around the tables.

Taryn and John’s dance floor had a club like feel with today’s hits mixed expertly by Mike D. The couple also brought glow sticks from a nightclub they used to work at for the guests to dance with, which added to the exciting lighting.

“I love going to bars that have them (glow sticks) because it always gets people dancing so I would joke with John and tell him we were gonna have them for our wedding and he said ‘no way!’ So our friend who works at a bar surprised me with a box of glow sticks that night!” said Taryn.
