To add to the winter magic, we included plenty of decor that truly evoked the feeling of being in a cozy lodge. Think benches and planters with winter greens, trees covered in fake snow, and garlands draped across the entrance to make guests feel like they were about to sit by a warm fire in a snowy cabin. The entire entry area was designed to make them forget they were in Chicago and think they’d just walked into an apres ski wonderland.
