Room 1520

Room 1520 is located in the heart of the artistic West Loop neighborhood of Chicago. The venue is a spacious, restored historical gear factory loft building with high ceilings, polished cement floors, portrait windows, exposed brick, private street entrances and many amenities. Room 1520 is different from other loft venues in the city. It is elegant, airy, bright and accented by Italian crystal chandeliers and an artisan staircase in the grand entrance.  The addition of an ornate built in bar in 2014 pushed them to the top of the list!

Like no other venue in the city, Room 1520 offers a raw urban space that provides versatility. With its 4,000 sqaure foot open floor plan and drape space divider the space can be customized to meet your needs.  Chicago Illuminating Company

The Chicago Illuminating Company, housed in a two-story former power plant/warehouse that dates back to the 1900s, is conveniently located near Convention Center – McCormick Place. The renovated, modern architectual highlights blend with an urbane loft aesthetic for a sophisticated, state-of the-art feel. Square footage is 10,000 square feet. Features include hardwood floors, elegant tile mosaic detailing and original steel beams. The ceiling height ranges from 15 to 50 feet (the main room features a 50-foot-high wall of display shelves). Built-in marble bars are designed for use as bars and for chefs’ presentations. Tall arched windows stand opposite a mezzanine balcony. Massive mirrors are placed against the walls.

Gallery 1028

Gallery 1028 is located on Goose Island & borrows a unique aesthetic and flair from the island’s heritage. Predominantly inhabited by geese and squatters until the 1860s, Goose Island became prime real estate for Chicago’s industrial expansion.
