MDM Entertainment is now hiring Chicago wedding DJs, AV Techs, Lighting Techs and Stagehands to expand our team to handle the ever-increasing demand for our services. We currently have wedding DJ jobs, AV Tech jobs, Lighting Tech jobs and Stagehand jobs available.

Now Hiring DJ’s

We are looking for outgoing, energetic and personable individuals to perform as DJs and MCs at corporate and social events. A love of music is a must.

We are not your typical “cheesy” wedding DJ company and are looking for contemporary DJs who can read a crowd and mix well. Nightclub experience is preferred. Experience with weddings and corporate events is also preferred however, we will train the right people.

If you’ve never DJ’d before but love music and think you’ve got what it takes, don’t worry. We have a thorough training program for new DJs showing you how to be a wedding DJ. Fill out the application below and we’ll get a hold of you with more details.

Now Hiring AV Techs, Lighting Techs, Drape Techs and Stagehands

We are also seeking AV Technicians, Lighting Technicians and Stagehands to set up sound, lighting, and video systems at social and corporate events in the Chicago area. We are also looking for Drape Techs to set up pipe and drape and other fabric structures.

Training will be offered however, experience with lighting, drape and AV in theater or the special event industry is required.

This job is a great fit for Theater Design majors!

Candidates must:

• Be reliable and able to act in a mature and professional manner
• Possess a solid work ethic
• Have an eye for design and detail
• Have a valid drivers license, a good driving record, valid auto insurance and reliable transportation
• Be able to lift 50+ lbs
• Be comfortable working at heights and on ladders
• Be able to work weekends

The job is part time (mainly on weekends).

Travel to and from event locations throughout Chicago and the suburbs from our Schaumburg office is required.
